Our Story
Calamvale Tutoring
RF tutoring was founded by Reem and Farah, two twin sisters.
School was a struggle for us. Moving schools more than four different times (don’t worry, it was because of parent work demands!), we were faced with many challenges especially academically.
If we were to describe what it was like in class, we would describe it as a train that kept going and you either jumped aboard or were left behind.
So, we were left with one option:
Put our two brains together (you know, twin telepathy) and devise techniques to help us get on track as quickly as possible.
You may be wondering, why didn’t you get a tutor? We simply didn’t think of the idea. If we could go back in time, we would have definitely gotten a tutor!
It was a long journey, but at last, we both graduated from Mansfield State High School scoring in the top 1.25%.
Upon graduating, we decided to share our knowledge and techniques with more students. Over the past 3 years, we have changed many lives, given students confidence they never knew they had and simply believed in them.
But it was time to spread all of the love by expanding our team 🙂 We didn’t want a single student to have that same feeling of missing the train and that’s when RF Tutoring was born.
